open world

I try to compromise between human and non-human to introduce a new form of landscape in which the landscape satisfies my aesthetic preferences, and the non-human is attracted to exploration. At the same time, it is a reflection of how man continuously tries to manipulate nature. I create speculative designs with the landscape as the medium.

This time it is about a very open and inviting world, where all forms of life are welcome and are registered. The still waters were exchanged for a lively waterfall that sets the place in motion and emphasizes the presence of gravity. There is a direct circulation with the outside world through which nature is invited in all its possible forms. Animals move into this new world and are registered from a distance.

I profile myself as a builder of landscapes that look so strange and unknown that they invite a form of escapism - from the reality as we know them. I am someone who works through interior architectural landscapes.

As a designer, I not only respond to our reality, but I appeal to the heterogeneity of society to make latent realities tangible through my designs. When certain zones of the landscapes are framed, the idea of scale seems to disappear and features of dislocation appear. With aesthetics I make people and non-humans think differently about a world that is in stark contrast to their own environment.
